An interior renovation project for a 7000 sq ft office space in Dubai. The project involved redesigning the space for maximum efficiency and creating an enjoyable working environment. The addition of spaces, positioning of rooms and extension of areas were designed for the increase in workforce and to better tackle the harsh summer climate of Dubai. The plan is divided in 3 sections, management (Right), workforce (Middle) and client meetings areas (Left).

An interior renovation and loft conversion for a new-build detached house in Watford. The project consisted of designing a new study, an extended living/dining room, an additional bedroom, en-suite and extra storage space. This was achieved through creating an open plan layout on the ground floor to create an airy atmosphere whilst also allowing space for a 2 person study. Bedroom 3 was relocated to the loft to create space for a walk-in closet in the master bedroom and a staircase to access the loft. Finally, the loft consisted of bedroom 3 and another master bedroom with a walk-in closet and en-suite. All design considerations where made to ensure the project was affordable and within the clients budget.

Jewellery Quarter Design Project: Connect

A community centre located at the edge of Jewellery Quarter. Connect is a space where the public can learn about the history of the area and learn a new skill (making jewellery/small metal objects). The project was inspired by the area, hence, having the proposal connect with its urban context, exploring connections within the facade materials and most importantly, promoting connection and collaboration of the building users.

Jewellery Quarter Construction Project: Double Skin Facade

The double skin facade sits in the building and acts as a buffer zone similar to a trombe wall. The facade's main design features include the perforated brick design to allow light into the building whilst also keeping an element of privacy (the facade is therefore angled to the south). This facade also used brick as its main material to mimic the Jewellery Quarter architectural style in a contemporary fashion.

Attracting the public to Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter by prioritising pedestrians, adding nature and creating a reason for people to walk along Ludgate Hill and Church Street. The addition of an educational centre, jewellery retail park, cafe overlooking the canal, nature in the form of green facades, rooftop parks/green roofs and various other additions along the street, making it a popular destination for tourists.

Remodelling a street in Coventry to make the public slow down and spend time, rather than using it for commuting purposes. The long term aim for this area was to create a “hidden gem” tourist spot in the UK as a place of retail and entertainment. For this project, I split the street into 5 sections as listed below.
- Bull Yard: An area filled with cultural restaurants and socialising spaces and includes hourly dancing fountain and light shows.
- The Canopy: An indoor protected shopping street filled with average to high-end brands, with semi-carpeted floors and background music.
- The Wedge: Transforming a semi enclosed dark area into a lively lit up space where people can hangout at their favourite cafes.
- Broadgate: An open space where Coventry University students and families can hangout by using the different activities (Table tennis, pool, chess, "foot pool" etc).
- Trinity Street: Creating a pedestrian friendly shopping street by slowing down traffic through removing bus routes, creating a narrow one-way car lane and adding parking and nature.

An extension to the historic Coventry Charterhouse, where individuals can socialise in the educational space and cafe whilst learning about the history of Coventry. Design features such as the location, building size and design were reflected on during the conceptual stages to ensure the importance of the Charterhouse was kept, whilst also enticing individuals to use the space.
